Fractured Mag

Fractured was created by Austin Gill and Reed Wynn, both creatives looking for a place to share and feature their work, as well as further conversations that inspire them.

Austin and Reed met each other at a time in their lives that presented a conflict. It was a conflict of identity, Reed transitioning from the life of a collegiate athlete and Austin coming from a career as a professional stuntman.

Inspiration struck when they began the conversation of life after life. The difficulties that arose when attempting to change ones identity became a talking point between the two. So the conversation grew, a learning opportunity for the both of them, reaching out to friends, family, coworkers and even strangers about the coping techniques used by other creatives in overcoming those same challenges.

Why do artists choose this lifestyle?

The life of an artist is uncertain, it’s unpredictable. It has no structure, nor guarantee of success so why pursue it?

These are the questions that Reed and Austin ask when interviewing creatives, constantly searching for a better understanding of what elements are present to turn someone towards the world of art.
